Dr. Sinclair wrote:"if we do somthing about it."
"Do something about it, and what would you have us do Dr. Sinclair? I do not mean to verbally attack you or your passionate beliefs. But I must question the outcome of such action taken. Do you intend to go and hunt down anyone suspected of illegal activities? Or perhaps only those that involve violent crimes? Or even just those suspected of being involved with Organized-Crime? Where does it stop?"
Father Sahaal's eyes darken and his voice drops slightly with controlled anger as he continues
"Another question: where is your authority? Would you have us all become Vigilantes: Judge, Juror, and Executioner? If you wish for help in slaying those who may or may not be criminals seek out Doctor Cobb. For I will not stoop to that bloodthirsty murder's corrupt idea of morality and justice. Will you too, shoot unconscious men, for simply being "suspicious"? I have no qualm with interfering when present to a situation, or doing what I can to keep those from harm, but when you take it to such levels it destroys the integrity and fabric that maintain society. Unless you have some manner of determining who is involved and have means to prove their guilt.... You endanger the very foundation that society is built upon."
Loosing his anger, the monk speaks with a fresher and more balanced tone
"As I said I will do whatever I can to protect those from who would endanger them: Mind, Body, or Soul. But I will not destabilize the local government and give the power to those very criminals who you seek to punish. You want to bring them to justice? Follow the laws and abide by them, enforce them when needed. But when you step outside it yourself, you are only better then they are by your intentions and motivations."
